Bobby Long Article Round-up

The past few days there have been quite a few Bobby Long articles popping up around the interwebs– not that I am complaining one bit, hello, I could read about him all day, thx.

The first two are interviews from a few days ago, but I don’t think you’ll mind, right?  Both come from River Front Times, St. Louis’ Alternative newspaper.  Here are excerpts from each:

I think it’s just smiling. [Laughs] I kind of wear my heart on my sleeve. At the moment, anyway. I don’t want to be anywhere else [than on tour]. I want to go in the studio – and I’m gonna do that [eventually] – but I want to be out there playing my songs and going about it the same way my heroes did, which is working as hard as you possibly can and getting your songs out there and learning your craft.

The hardest thing… [is] when people [are] coming up to you, wanting some one-on-one thing. I’m really happy to do that, but someties you’re so tired, you can’t smile. You feel exhausted and you can’t physically show the appreciation the way you want to.

That’s been the hardest thing — just making people listen and get what you’re doing.

Coming out today, from Examiner.com’s Amanda Bell, is an article highlighting Bobby’s manager, Phil Taylor, and his diary-like entry of Bobby last few days touring.  Included in his summary are details of Bobby’s denial into Canada for his Vancouver show and more insight into this recent tweet from Bobby:

Also you can watch more vids of his recent TV spots.
