I so want this CD… is it only available at his shows?
Yeah, it’s only available at his shows. He does of 3 of the songs on iTunes though!
I LOVE this venue! I lived in Chi-town for 6yrs. This is in such a cool part of town…very artsy. I hope he gets to check out some of the incredible blues while he’s there. Such a great music town.
I was at the Chicago show last night. Bobby has made me a fan for life. He is absolutely captivating onstage, and has so much passion that you can’t help but be moved by the music. I was smiling practically for an hour and a half straight.Toward the end, he was singing a cover, not sure of the name, but the lyrics were “lights in Dublin”, and his guitar was going out. He ended up finishing it a Cappella, and was just hypnotizing. I didn’t get to stay to meet him unfortunately, because I had an hour drive to get back home and it was late, but I am planning on seeing him when he comes back in December, and next time, I’ll stay to get a signature! I bought both CDs (one live and the other Dirty Pond Songs) and the tour poster.
Wow!! Sounds like you had an AMAZING time! There is something about seeing these guys in person that just wins you over. Next time you have to stay and meet them. They are all such sweet guys!
I was also at the Double Door last night. Bobby was soooooo much better than I’d even heard on myspace and rhapsody. What a truly humble, yet sensationally talented man he is!
I stayed to meet him after the show and he signed two cd’s for me. He even took a picture with me before he left for MN. I couldn’t believe that he actually seemed like he WANTED to stay and sign and take pictures with fans.
Likewise, I must mention how very kind other fans were to my friends and me. It was unlike any other show I’d ever been to–people greeting us outside the venue, offering to text us if the place got crowded while we were having dinner before the show, and joking with us in line! The fans are pretty impressive, too, and deserve a shout out!
Bobby does have the best fans! I mean, I’m a fan, LiLi is a fan and you are a fan. How are we not the best EVER!?!
