And this is why I have problems functioning throughout the day. PokerStarlight said I should post this and I thought, hey, what the hell? We need a FUN post on the site STAT, and today seems like a good day to do it!
The deal is… we are wondering which of the guys would last the longest in a “no holds barred” drinking contest. The going theory is in Sam’s favor, but hey, your opinion matters!
So vote here, then go down to the comments and tell us why you chose your guy!
And, since this theory needs to be tested, I am depending on one of the guys to make this competition happen. LiLi and I are happy to be judged. We can be non bias and all that jazz, as long as we don’t start drinking, too. Then we might have problems…

I don’t actually have any idea of how much Bobby and Marcus can put away, but I’ve personally seen Sam have in one evening:
2 jagerbombs, 5 glasses of whiskey, 3 shots of who-knows-what!, 6+ beer (lost track after this point due to my own consumption!) and he was still talking, walking and acting coherent… funny
but coherent. He can ABSOLUTELY hold his alcohol.

I didn’t say he likes Jagerbombs! LOL.. but he was game when we did them with him. In his words “Smells like cough syrup!” and after the shot we both went “Tastes like cough syrup too!” lol

My hubs put it right I think: “btw voted for Sam on the drinking poll. Anyone who writes about losing a passport in a strip club…WINNER!!” He also has a whole song just about “Whiskey” – to which he takes whiskey shots throughout while on stage.

Sam not only accepts the whiskeys bought for him, but immediately takes a sip. I have no idea how much he had at our show, but he had several, and the band had no qualms about getting in the van later & letting him drive 3 hours to the next gig.
I figure if the band thinks he can hold his liquor, he will definitely be the Last Man Standing!

I voted for Sam because he’s the most hyper of the three. He can metabolize that shit quicker so it would take him longer to get drunk. Oh, and he has that Whiskey song. Lol. This should definitely be tested! And I need to be there to witness this epic event.

I hate to pick…but since I also have seen Mr. Bradley in action (sounds like the same night asBugDocLady…LOL) I will have to go with Sam. He is gracious enough to accept just about every drink bought for him. I have only seen him give ONE away, and that was to mu husband. Who, by the way, was very grateful! LOL Do you remember that Sam?? Um, probably not.
Oh Moonshine (aka Tampa) how I miss you! He did take that sugary lemon drop shot like a champ with us! I would have to go with Sam as well, because surprisingly he was still on his feet when we left…unbelievable!
I TOTALLY forgot about the lemon drop thing…omg…I am rolling over here!! He WAS still standing..I do kinda half remember him rushing by at one point at top speed heading straight to the loo though. Under his own power…which at that point in the evening was pretty damn amazing.

Although, I almost want to agree with most of you, electing Sam as The Last Man Standing, I’m going to go with Bobby since he seems to be the underdog! I went to his show a couple of nights ago and he was definitely throwin’ back the Heineys!! I was doing the same so I’m not quite sure if they were my heineys or his heineys I was counting..LMAO!
