Sooo….yeah….this is awkward.

Amber and I?? Oh, we’ve been great. Just yanno…having real life come in and take over and make us be responsible adults which prevented us from focusing on what’s really important like gchatting and tweeting and something else.  What’s it called again? Blooging? Blarfling?

OH, RIIIIGHT….BLOGGING.

What can we say but…whoopsie daisy!

I mean, no one wants to know the sordid deets of Amber’s and mine real life sitch so we won’t bore you with all that bidness but we will tell you that we did chat regularly about how we missed the blog and blogging. And tweeting. And all you guys. Duh.

And speaking of missing…WE.MISSED.A.LOT.OF.NEWS.

Yes, we know this. We might have been busy but we weren’t dead, yanno?? There were a few “OMG! did you see ________” texts that happened these past three months.

I mean, Shirt sales, Hawaii, Interviews, Roof Tops, Album Release Dates, Studio Recording Announcements, Fall Tours, NEW websites….WHOA. srsly.

There is no way to catch up. and you guys all know about all this already….so where does that leave us?

From his NEW official site no less. HELLO.  Amber and I were like SHUTUP. Have you had a chance to look around there yet? Please to be going there immediately so I can let my design nerd out and talk about how much I love the layout. And um, let’s NOT overlook that there is a section titled Blog.

I can only hope with all my fangirly heart that they will be written by Marcus himself. Oh the word vomit. Oh the amazingness. OH THE GCHAT FODDER.

Please, please let it not be some 19 year old label intern writing quick posts about how “last night’s show was great. I love Birmingham!”

Anyhoo- back to the pic. I saw this and was like, uh, I’ve never seen this before. And then I thought wow, Marcus is all Jack Handy with his Deep Thoughts and then I was like, uh, did no one have a broom or a mop? Cause the floor. Ewww. Yeah, I am old. And need clean floors. And then I finally focused on what was important about this pic…the pants trousers. Still rolling with the short pants trousers, huh? I. LOVE. IT. Not to mention that I have an ex-boyfriend that had boots almost exactly like those. And like Marcus, the shoe laces kept breaking but instead of getting new ones, he would just lace them lower and lower on the shoe.

Holy crap– can you tell we haven’t blogged in foreves?? Cause I am rambling like a fool. I will stop now. But know this. I love that pic. And his short pants trousers. And that we have a new post up. And that you all cared enough to bug us with “where are y’all?” and “we miss you”. We missed you all too. Trust.

Fingers crossed that real life leaves us alone for awhile, so we can post on the regular again.

LiLi: Um, so, my question is, obviously we are a big fan of blogs, cause we have one. But your blog, very interested in that. How’d that come about? And how did the name come about? Cause I’m gonna say, I love the name. When I first saw it I was like, yes…
Sam: I wanted to start one a couple years ago but I just didn’t think I’d be able to keep it up to date and as you can see…
LiLi: It’s hard.
Sam: I’m struggling right now.
Amber: We don’t know about that at all.
LiLi: Yeah, we struggle a lot.
